My Latest Crush: Privet House At Target

Target recently introduced the "Shops at Target," five shops they fell in love with from San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Aspen and my favorite, Privet House from Connecticut.
Privet House is an "emporium of antiques and curiosities," located in both Greenwich and Warren, Connecticut.   I'll have to put it on my bucket list of stores to visit.

But in the meantime, luckily for us, Target is featuring their wares!

Last week, I went to Target to check out Privet House and was not disappointed!  Here are some of my picks:

Love this galvanized ice bucket--right up my alley!

Drink dispenser with chalkboard label, sits on a wire stand.
Perfect for summer entertaining.

You can never have too many lanterns!

Wooden storage box with the Privet House label.

Love this galvanized watering can too!

There are an assortment of fragrant candles.
My favorite is the Herbs and Spice scent.

While snooping around with my iPhone, I found some great treasures like these burlap wrapped candles.
Not Privet House, but still, Target surprises me all the time!

Another surprise at Target...
Their buyers are right on "target," don't you think?

So what did I end up with?
This cheese platter!  I love it!

It fits right in with the rest of my white ironstone and enamelware, don't you think?

I love the Keep Calm and Carry On sign! I have seen this saying so many different times on sites that are displaying items to help celebrate the Queens Rule Celebration in England. I lived there for 4 years, but don't remember this saying, but I will Keep Calm and Carry On!

I must say that over the years I have been to Target less and less. This give me reason to stop in for a visit. Love the watering can and cheese boards. Everything looks great in the kitchen. Thanks for giving us the Tarjay update.

Hi Delores - I think Target is very clever, and would love to work in their product development department. I really love shopping there for everything---from household items to clothing! Yes, I love their clothes :-)

I loved their stuff, but unfortunately for us, it flew off the shelves. I wanted those neutral chevron placemats and coral napkins and went back the next day because I couldn't stop thinking about them and they were gone :) So it goes with the good stuff!

Love Target. We're on the same wavelength as I was just writing up a post on this very product line. They really have a great marketing team. Picked up the planter and put my mother's day plant in it.

I went out to our target and nothing that good was there, just a few paper gift bags and napkins, guess I missed it all

I like it all

I haven't been able to do much shopping since I broke my foot but I saw these shops when I was on a trip to Target and fell in love with all of the Privet House items as well! Three more weeks in this boot and then I'm going to be up at Target filling my basket!
