Succulents And A New Sofa Table

Temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees in Asti during the summer which is why succulents make so much sense.
They do better under cover like this arrangement that I planted last weekend in a rustic clay pot.

The faux rock planter also got a few new plants to freshen up.
It looks fabulous sitting on my newest find....

...this faux bois cement demi-lune table!
I found it at a thrift store for $100!
No sooner did I buy it when a nice woman approached me to say if I ever decide to sell it, she would buy it from me!
I don't think so!
It's a perfect table behind the wicker sofa, don't you think?

  3. Delores, I love potted succulants! Your rustic planter is really cool. I live in Michigan so they don't do that we'll here, but I did a huge clay planter a couple of years ago and it was really beautiful. Love the table too...♡

  6. You're right, that table is perfect -- love the frame! I find succulents so amazing. I have some in my back patio area. They are in the full morning AZ sun and seem to be quite happy. I want to add more to the basket this Fall.

  7. OMG, it is a perfect piece! Love the wicker paired with faux bois. It would have definitely come home with me if I had seen it. Actually been looking for a piece like this to use on the terrace. Great find, Delores!

  8. I just posted today on the history of Faux Bois and was myself coveting a table like the one you found. What a deal…it's beautiful, as are the succulent containers. Thanks for sharing.

  15. I just caught up on reading several posts. I love the cement table, and the post on the bottles from the hampers was lovely. My parents have knives exactly like the ones in the Rolls basket, which they still use! That was a treat to see ;-) Your taste is so lovely, I've always enjoyed your blog. Have a nice weekend!!
