Collecting Nativity Scenes

This little Nativity Scene was my first one. Believe it or not, I found it at one of the discount stores for $9.99--are you out of your mind! The star used to light up.

Then I inherited this one from my Mother-In-Law. It has been in my husband's family since he was little. There are so many pieces to this Creche, but I only put out a few. So now I have one for each mantle. This one is in the living room.

The living room mantle all decked out with garland, Creche and stockings. Lots of stockings!

This Creche was a bit of a splurge. I ordered it from Pierre Deux and it goes with the two angels I featured on the Joyeux Noel tablescape. Notice the provencal clothes Mary and Joseph are wearing.

Does this mean I have a collection? If you have three of something, it's a collection. So I've been told......Anyway, I love this one. It sits in the dining room.

I've been admiring Laurie's Nativity Scene used in her header at Bargain Hunting With Laurie.
Check it out here.
