Marburger Farms Antique Show

Here are a few photos of our day at Marburger Antique Show in Round Top.

Everything was a visual feast.

I've never seen anything like this unusual terrarium.

I'm in alabaster heaven!

There was a lot of burlap upholstered furniture and chandeliers like above.

Speaking of chandeliers, this booth was the motherlode!

This booth was like a fantasy land!

The girls and I had a very fun day at Round Top. We shopped until we dropped!
Stay tuned. More to follow later!

  14. Oh Delores,
Thank you for posting photos from Marburger! I think that terrarium is faux bois, I wonder if Robin from Magnolia Pearl saw that, I know her and John love it. Speaking of her, thank you for sharing her booth, it's so beautiful. Have a beautiful Easter weekend!

  16. A dream come true...I've always wanted to shop Roundtop. Came close 2 years ago when hubby and I had flown to a nearby town for a funeral, just didn't think it was appropriate to bring up the subject at the time. I can't wait to see the pictures. Your right...Alabaster Heaven and Chandlier Motherload. I heart would have been racing so fast!!

  23. Thank you for stopping by "Cozy Blanket". My grandkids are my joy.
What a beautiful family you have. Love roses, as well. So exciting about your daughter being on Glee and on the cover of RS. You must be busting at the seams.
    Great blog.

  24. Dear Dolores

    Hi,

I was searching on the Internet about birth baths in alabaster, when I found your blog, that has a photo of a fantastic ensemble of pieces in alabaster, taken at The Marburger Farm Antique Show

I inherited a birth bath in alabaster similar to the pieces of your photo. I’m looking to learning more about that birth bath. I would like to known where it was made or when it was produced. I suppose it is Italian, but I’m not sure.

Could you be so kind and give me the name of the antique dealer who was selling the alabaster pieces

    Thank you
