We Are Exactly Where We Are Meant To Be

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are
meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.
Let this presence settle into your bones,

and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.
~St. Teresa of Avila

Sometimes, we need a gentle reminder that we are exactly where we are meant to be. At least I do!

On this Sunday in March, let's also keep the people of Japan in our thoughts and prayers, and try to send at least $10 to The American Red Cross for the relief efforts. They are accepting donations here.

  2. Delores,
Thank you for this moving message today! Makes us put what's truly important in our lives into focus when we observe (from a distance) the disaster that has changed lives of others forever!

  12. I really enjoyed catching up with your blog this evening. I had to laugh at copper tubs -- years ago I had my heart set on one. Builder after builder went away shaking his head and laughing because I wanted that Kallista copper tub. At the time it was $35,000. I thought it would be perfectly reasonable to cut some costs in other places, like not added lots of fancy mouldings and kitchen cabinets, and have that tub! No one agreed with me, and I never did build that house or get that tub. But I still want it.
