The Kitchen Lamp Makes Its Debut


I found this vintage teapot lamp at the Hillsborough Antiques Show several months ago and tucked it away in the "lamps are us" cupboard, waiting for the perfect shade.

So today, the little teapot lamp makes its debut with a new burlap shade from Target. $9.99, thank you very much!
I tucked it in the corner next to the sink with the cow print from Savvy City Farmer and some greenery. Don't you just love a lamp in the kitchen?

    Yes I do!! I have two in my kitchen. I saw that shade at Tarjay and though it was great looking. It is wonderful on your lamp and it gives off such a wonderful glow!!     I love the look but would be hard pressed to give up some valuable counter top real estate space for a lamp.
    Great choice in the shade. What a darling picture. Who doesn't love a cow?

    The lamp is beautiful! And, fyi, the pattern is Beatrice, by Wedgwood and is an Aesthetic Movement piece dating to the 1880's. I have a platter that matches and when I have this pattern for sale it goes quickly. I've never seen a tea pot or coffee pot so this was a treat! Love the burlap shade too!

    Oh this caught my eye! I just bought a transferware sugar bowl lamp on Etsy. It doesn't have a shade, so its good to see Target has burlap ones...

    Love it! I have been looking for a lampshade for my floor lamp in my bedroom and was going to get the expensive Pottery Barn one that looks just like yours. I wonder if Target sells one that would fit my floor lamp! Beautiful!

    Your lamp with the burlap shade is fabulous! I love a lamp on the counter in a corner. In the evening, I think the light creates a wonderful vignette. I am partial ato sheep, though!
