"Make your home as attractive and comfortable as possible and then get on with living. There's more to life than decorating."
--Albert Hadley
Great advise from one of my favorite designers, reminding us to go outside and smell the roses, spend the day with the ones we love. That's exactly what I intend to do today.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

I like that in other words don't obsess too much as there is so much living to do, do agree but I for one can only do that when things are right and complete within my home then I can move forward and get out there to do some "living"! Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteDelores,
ReplyDeleteFound your blog after reading a comment you posted on my bff's blog(TheBrittainHouse.blogspot.com)and I'm very glad I did. This quote is very insightful and just what I needed to here. As lovers of interior design and decor, we can get so caught up in creating the perfect looking home that we forget to enjoy what home is really all about, family. Your newest follower. =)
Great advice! Hope you had a fun day with the family.
