A Creative Mess


This is the "staging area" full of props to style the five rooms on the photo order.
All of it was either here already, or brought in from our home.

Candles, confit pots, lots of pillows, urns--we filled two SUV's full of props!

Right now, it's a creative mess.
I'm learning so much from Bonnie about styling a room, and so much from John about photography.

This is work?
It can't be! We are all having too much fun for it to be work!

    Girl! I am just so excited and happy for you. I remember my photo shoot and I too was amazed. They must have taken hundreds and hundreds of shots that day. I wish I was there with you watching and enjoying all the fun. Enjoy your moment - you have worked hard for it and I can't wait for the magazine to come out. I will be first in line for an autographed copy. LOL

    I cannot imagine that much had to be staged.... Your home is ALWAYS picture perfect... So very excited for you.. Your talents will finally be shared with the world in glossy PRINT! I am sure you will let us know when the mag hits the stands.. We are all anxiously waiting to ooohh & ahhh...

    I meant to congratulate you when you posted about being featured, but I probably read it on my cell phone on the beach this summer, and I think I never did so. I can't think of anyone who deserves to have their home featured in that magazine more than you! Your home is stunning! Congrats!
