Outdoor rooms are one of my favorite subjects and pins right now on Pinterest.
I'm always looking for outdoor inspiration, and with summer months upon us, I'm looking for ways to improve our outdoor seating area.
This copper metal table is a recent find from The Foundary and adds a new dimension to our outdoor room.
It is definitely an improvement to the area.
I'm loving how the copper color highlights the colors of the succulents in the faux stone pot.
Last year, I painted the wicker furniture black and had new stripe cushions made.
The cushions wintered in the garage, but the furniture stayed outside with no consequence.
Our outdoor room is the favorite room in the house right now!
Morning coffee spot, afternoon tea spot...
Adding the copper table to the mix gave the seating area a punch!
Did I mention this is also a perfect place for an afternoon nap?

I'd sit out there if for nothing else to look at those beautiful succulents! Sally
ReplyDeleteYour outdoor room looks great. One question, how do you deal with all of the pillows? I have always disliked the use of pillows and cushions because I feel a constant need to remove them so they dont become soiled or wet from the weather. I hate nothing more than to sit down on a pillow that is dirty, or one that is damp from yesterdays rain, or moisture on the bottom of the pillows from not drying out from a rain. Do you find yourself constantly moving them to a deck box for protection? My favorite feature is your copper table.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous...I love the furniture and the rug!!...the succulents in that great pot are terrific...Such a marvelous place to sit and relax and enjoy the view!
ReplyDeleteIf I had your outdoor room....I'd stay there! What an inviting comfy place!

Where did you get that sweet little table?
ReplyDeleteHi, Delores -
ReplyDeleteYour outdoor room is beautiful. Very well appointed!! I love your succulents in the faux stone planters. So cool, and organic. I want one of those....will go hunting! :-)
Cheers, Loi
Your outdoor room is beautiful. I love the furniture - and I love taking a nap in our outdoor room too! Something about that fresh air!
ReplyDeleteI love your outdoor room, but I especially love the rear view of you house with all the windows and that huge column. It makes a perfect backdrop for your lovely sitting area. I can only imagine the tranquility there with the fountain near by and the manicured expanse out front. The copper table is perfect and should give an interesting patina as it ages.
ReplyDeleteDelores,
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and inviting. What did you paint your wicker with? I may have to do the same sometime later this year.
Karen
I could spend hours in your outdoor living space. It's so inviting! Enjoy your leisure time, Delores.

ReplyDeleteI love your outdoor area!! So pretty and your wicker looks absolutely inviting! What a gorgeous area!
ReplyDeleteThe copper table is from The Foundary, under $100!
ReplyDeleteYour outdoor room is charming and I think wicker is the most comfortable for outdoor seating. Were the cushions you had made super expensive? Do you bring them in when it rains? You have definitely made me seriously think of painting my wicker. I had a set years ago and I think I painted it 4 times and 4 different colors!

Delores, I love the black furniture and ADORE the new copper table! Your succulents always look SO healthy! I always wonder how they don't get too much water when it rains??? HELP!!! XO, Pinky
ReplyDeleteThe pots have a drain hole in them Pinky. For some reason that helps. The succulents in that pot on the table were planted last year! And, they stayed outside all winter long. I love the overgrown look of them right now!
ReplyDeleteso full of wonderful inspiration!
