    I just attended a friend's father's memorial service. He was a proud world war 2 veteran and we sang this song at the service. Brought chills! Such a great, positive song! Happy Birthday, America!

    Yes we do have a flag and fly it proud....that was one request of my husbands, that we have a flag for the front porch (easy request I thought!!)

    I have seven flags out there flying proudly today!
    Normally I have all my bunting out too but this is the first time in nine years here at this home that I did not get it out!!!

    No one misses it but me probably, but I just ran out of time this year!
