The Pool House Gets A Fresh Look

 The good thing about the 4th being on a Wednesday is that we get to spend five days in Asti Heaven!
Five days to play in the garden and spruce things up for our summer-time guests.
Last evening, I worked on the pool house.

 I brought up new succulents to replace the old ones...

...and the succulent suitcase found a new, permanent home.
Permanent, because it weighs a ton and took two of us to lift it!  

I found this red floral pillow at Homegoods last week.
Only one, so now I'm on a mission to find more.

 After "decorating" the pool house, I had some photoshoot fun with my Canon, playing with the evening light...  



Summer time, and the living is easy!
Today, I'm working on a summer tablescape, so stay tuned!

    Asti is a piece of heaven. How beautiful and serene. I don't know that I could leave once I arrived.
    I'm tweaking things around the house this week too. A little change is good!

    What a FANTASTIC space!!! I love the wicker suitcase. Did you line it with plastic? I am sooo going to make one! Great inspiration. I will look for another pillow for you when I go to HOmegoods next. I'll let you know!

    Love what you did with that suitcase ! I can imagine how heavy it is loaded with succulents...it weighs a ton on it's own!

    “Summer time and the living is easy!” – I couldn’t agree more! Summer always spells relaxation and unwinding. And it is also the perfect time to give your pool house a much needed makeover. And I think you did an incredible job in making it more inviting! I, for one, would love to drink some mimosas and take a dip in your pool. That for me is what summer is all about!
