In Like A Lion, Out Like a Lamb

 Happy March First!
Around here, it looks like March came in like a lamb, if you count heavy morning fog mild weather.
It will probably burn off in a few hours and be a warm day, yet again.
It's like a false spring...

Either way, these 70 degree days are giving me spring fever!
I'm hoping that March goes out like a lion though.
We need rain!
Then we can say "April showers....."
You know the rest!
Are you suffering from spring fever too?

  2. It's in the 40s and cloudy in New Jersey today. I cannot wait for spring! We have had a very long dreary winter so I am looking forward to some warm sunny days!

  5. Hi Patricia,
The only place I know you can buy these slabs is Joanne Hudson. Here is the link: http://www.joannehudson.com/enjoy/joanne-hudson-dairy-cheese-platter-slabs/english-pure-butter-platter.html
They have a butter slab and a smaller cheese slab.
    Good luck!

  6. We had two weeks of warm, sunny spring like days and I moved right into springtime state of mind. Then last week we turned cold with high winds. So Mother Nature is playing with us. I'm definitely ready to get working in my garden. '-)

  11. I was thinking the same thing yesterday, about In Like A Lion Out Like A Lamb

It snowed all day here yesterday and we have over 20 inches on the ground, it was a wet snow yesterday and didn't accumulate any

I think any of us who loves the outdoors and spring flowers are anxious for spring

  12. Just beautiful! Would you tell me what plants are growing up the palms?

  13. The palms are circled with boxwood and ivy is growing up the bottom. They're date palms, over a hundred years old, I'm told.

  14. 70's sounds perfect! It's about 50 here in Seattle..cloudy and grey:( and will continue that way until June. Our winter and over all temps have been very mild this year so I guess I should be thankful for that.

    Great pictures Dolores. Happy weekend!

  15. It doesn't look like a false spring with those trees in full bloom across the street.
We still have snow on the ground and more expected tomorrow evening. :(
    California dreaming.
