Spring Cleaning In 30 Seconds!

Last week, my friend Martin and I tackled the grungy brick and teak furniture in the back yard with a power washer and a product called 30 Seconds.

This stuff is amazing!

Right before your eyes, teak goes from gray to brown, literally eliminating all the mildew and mold, restoring the wood to its original color.

Since we haven't power washed the brick in two years, it was really a mess.
 Martin first power washed it.

What a difference!

For the stubborn areas, we sprayed 30 Seconds.
It took a couple of tries, but eventually the brick came clean.

My son thought we got a new teak set!

These stairs were really black.  And slippery.
I'm asking myself why don't we do this every year, because I just love clean brick!

So does Oscar!
And there you have it, spring cleaning in 30 Seconds!

30 Seconds is available at Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Sears, Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond.
Just about every home improvement store!
Or you can order it from their website here.

  14. It looks pretty! But anything that says this: 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner is a formulated cleaner and should not be allowed to enter drinking water reservoirs, lakes or streams.
I wouldn't use. Also noticed they said not to use a power washer because it needs to stay on for 10 minutes for anyone who was going to use one.

  15. Wow Delores! That stuff is amazing. I don't have any teak furniture but if I ever get any I hope I remember this stuff. We brought out our cushions this weekend too, now it is going to rain tonight so back they come in!! LOL. Springtime, sometimes sunny sometimes rainy. Loving this weather!!
Your back yard patio looks wonderfully inviting!! xo

  21. Whoa! Amazing.
Just don't get confused and spray wash the dog.
I'm afraid that if let loose with a power washer, my husband would drill holes right thru teak furniture!

  29. I love when you post about things I've been thinking about. Makes me feel all "with it" and on trend, lol. Right down to do I buy a power washer or rent one. Well if rent is what Delores does, it's what Carol will do. Love your blog!

  33. The transformation of your teak set is definitely amazing! I guess the time for manually scrubbing our brick floors is long gone, eh? That amazing product and power washing made a killer combination. Now, I’m excited to try it on our porch!
