Cake Vintage

In my previous post, I used these paper placemats in my "Disposable Tablescape." Aren't they great? I actually found them at NapaStyle, but thought I would share with you the website where these can be found, along with other wonderful treasures.

It's called Cake Vintage. They sell lots of hotel silver
plate in mixed patterns. This 5 piece place setting retails for $25.

They also take old hotel silver plate and repurpose them like these napkin rings.

Another example of repurposing old silver plate. Cake Vintage has a lot of different chandeliers, some even made with old tea cups. Very creative and funky.

There are kitchen linens like this linen tea towel, as well as cute little aprons.

But what I am really loving is this mounted grain sack. Found in an old barn in France, there are a limited quantities. This one retails for $275.

Check out Cake Vintage here! Let me know what treasure speaks to you!

  9. Mmm...they have a lot of wonderful things. I think that the key plate lighting would be fun in a craft room.

    I hope you're having a lovely weekend!

  16. Thanks so much for the link. I will definitely check this shop out.

I just noticed on your sidebar, you have my old link. I have moved my blog to typepad. The old one disappeared last Tuesday. I thought I had lost 3.5 years of work! I figured out how to get the page back, but decided to move on to typepad.
My custom domain name was hacked and no longer works for the old blog.

My new link is http://backporchmusings.typepad.com Hope to see you there!

  18. Paper tablescape?? Oh I missed that one. I'll go looking.
Those napkin rings and the chandeliers are so cool. I will have to see if I can get some silverware to bend. I will start with the cheap stuff.

You and Cindy are so right, I have had this happen to me too. In the end we all just have to do what feels right for us. I will admit that I am glad I can finally show my line of deer without fear of being stoned...lol
