    Very dreamy!.
My husband is half Italian and his Italian Grandmother would always tell me Mangia, Mangia Elizabeth!
Maybe that's why I'm so "fluffy" now LOL....
We were in your neck of the wood last weekend. We took my parents to Napa for the wine train.

  16. Fall is my absolute favorite time of year - especially for going to Italy with the plethora of country foods florishing and the hoards of tourist back in their own homes. My husband and I are slowly planning our one-day purchase of a place in Tuscany and seeing your pics today reminds me why we keep that dream alive!

  26. Oh Delores! I have just poured over all the pictures from your trip and they are magnificent! You have such an eye for photography! I know you loved seeing your son and all the sights.

Do you guys speak Italian? We lived in Germany for a couple of years and my in-law's lived in Lazise, Italy near Lago di Garda for two years while we were in Germany. We visited them several times and just loved Italy! We would get tickled when my father in law would say (in English, mind you!) "I am no tourist... I live here!" We could sit in their backyard that looked over the vineyards owned by the Count and Countess that owned their home and watch the fireworks at night from Gardaland. Such fun!

I know you had a wonderful time! Thanks so much for sharing!

Really, you are an artist with a fabulous eye for framing, knowing what is the most beautiful way to take each shot. All I can say is, keep it up. 39. Oh my gosh, how breathtaking. We went to Italy 2 years ago and took a Mediterranean cruise. It was our favorite place in the world. Unless you've been there, you can't really imagine the sheer beauty of the region. I took over 3,000 pictures. You've inspired me to dig them out and put some of them up on my new blog.
