Curiosity got the better of me after seeing so many ads about Threshold at Target.
So, with great expectations, I decided to check out their new line of merchandise.
The name "Threshold" alone conjures up images of home to me, particularly a home with a rustic and natural vibe.
Although there wasn't a lot of Threshold merchandise at my local Target, what was there is indeed rustic.
Natural beeswax candles...
Faux lavender in burlap wrapped pots....
Natural wood candlesticks...
Natural wooden clock...
And a galvanized metal clock!
Target has always had their share of fabulous lampshades.
There is a small collection of furniture too for the Threshold line.
Frankly, I thought there would be more products, and that they would all be concentrated together.
I came home and explored the Target website to see what was missing at my local store.
Turns out, there is a whole bunch more online.
I just explored the "kitchen and dining" category and was pleasantly surprised.
Here are my picks, starting with a white porcelain covered brie dish.
I seriously need about a dozen of these refrigerator jars for leftovers.
At $7.99, they are a bargain.
This plaid ice bucket is a no brainer for me!
Why do I just love stuff like this?
And this?
Seriously, what is it about white porcelain with words.
Gets me every time!

I love this colorful set of melamine dishes.
Right?
Bringing it all together...
"Natural wood, galvanized steel and a touch of watercolor"...yes this space does say urban farm!
Check out your local Target for Threshold products or just go online here.

I love the Threshold line. I bought a lamp, lampshade and a galvanized clock (different one than you have pictured). You really can't beat the price and their stuff is so cute!

Makes a beautiful statement. I'll stop by Target and see the collection. Thanks for the heads up. ~ Sarah
I am right there with you all the white pieces and the cheese board with the cow, Oh my, love that!!
Fun shopping at Tarjay with you this morning,
Happy monday,
Kathysue
We are having a blue monday over on my blog today!!
It's nice, I like Target n' such for ideas, however have gotten a bit weary of the pre-fab Made in China quality look. With a bit of hunting on Etsy, g-sales and antique stores, I've gotten the same results instead of settling for the knock-offs.
Hi Di B,
I agree, Target is great for ideas. My whole life has been perusing antique stores & flea markets for the treasures that I collect. Everything new these days is unfortunately made in China unless you buy vintage.
Thanks for your comment.
We won't have a Target store here in British Columbia until later this year. Lucky for me it won't be more than a 10 minute drive away.
hi Delores! Love the shades- so fun! Love the porcelain measuring spoons; I've had some for years and they "sound" so pretty when you use them!
hope you are well,
xxoj.
It looks like Target will be on my next outing list. Thanks for giving us a head's up on these new products.
Fun stuff! I love target too

Because I'm in Houston we have amazing Targets. Amazing. I always find something there, even when I go to buy detergernt I'm lured over to see what else is around. Crazy good.
I agree I wish they had more threshold at my local target but you have proved that its worth going online to check it out -- so i will!
Wow this looks so great...one of their better looking lines lately. Fun!
Will have to check this out….we just got another Target…this one is the mega kind with the escalator, etc…it's pretty fun to go in. Lines like this always worry me with things we carry in our shop but I guess that's the name of the game! Thanks for sharing this…I had not heard of this line before! But then again, I don't leave my own shop much!
Great review of an interesting line.
Perhaps you'd like to link to "Oh, the PLACES I've been!". The link goes up at 7 pm EST Thursday evenings.

Uh Oh I think this looks like trouble for me.
I see lots of little things that I might just HAVE to have.
Darn it.

Hi- I am a new reader of your excellent blog. First thing I noticed was the color of your kitchen cabinets. It is lovely and I would like to replicate it in our remodel. Would you be willing to share the stain color with me?
Thanks
