C'est Les Printemps

I could tell spring was near by the way the air smells at night with the sweet scent of lilacs.

Lilacs are to me the quintessential spring flower, their blooms ever so brief yet dramatic with their perfume.
Of course I cannot wait to pick them and bring inside to inhale!

C'est Les Printemps! (This is spring!)
“That is one good thing about this world...there are always sure to be more springs.”  ~L.M. Montgomery
(Which means more lilacs!)

Happy First Day of Spring!

I don't think we can grown lilacs here! But I will b posting a blog about spring around here in Santa Barbara!

Life is so wonderful! I celebrate every day!

I will write about the little wrens making a nest in my straw purse on our outside loggia!

Spring is my favorite season! Happy Spring!

I keep a beautiful vase in my entry and in it I do fresh, seasonal arrangements. My late mother in law's home across the street has tons of different colored lilacs and when in season I love doing them in loose cuttings. Lilacs are just about my most favorite. Shiree'
