Last summer, I was fortunate to again work with Bonnie Broten of Meredith Corporation when my friend Teresa's home was chosen for a photo shoot.
This was my third photoshoot with Bonnie, and hopefully not my last.
I had previously blogged about this home here, sent the photos that I took to Bonnie, and the rest is
history!
The biggest surprise though?
Teresa's home made the cover of Décor Magazine!
This home is a study in masculinity with its 50 shades of gray and menswear fabrics.
Which is perfect for San Francisco.
Smart tailoring, indeed.
But also incredible sophistication.
What you can't see outside the window in the photo above is the Palace of Fine Arts, a San Francisco landmark.
Simply breathtaking!
It was so much fun working with Bonnie again.
Here she is working her magic in the dining room...
...and checking out the image with the photographer.
I was very influenced by this home and Teresa's design when I remodeled my own home, just a few blocks away.
My bedroom is charcoal gray with white bedding, and I love that floor but was unable to make it work in my own bathroom.
This is such a lovely feature, but also the story of the homeowner's labor of love. But don't take my word for it, get the magazine and read for yourself.
You can find the Fall/Winter 2016 issue of Décor now at your local newsstand, grocery store, or home improvement store.
It's definitely a keeper!

So beautiful ♥
I absolutely LOVE the masculinity of this home. Congrats!
I'll pick up a copy today! Love the clean look of this home, the sun streaming in, and the VIEW. Stunning! Eager to see more of your new home, Delores.
Oh my! With that view and neighborhood, we are talking about some serious real estate! On my top 5 list, if I could transplant myself, friends and family anywhere. And then there's the gorgeous design and light filled space. One day, I'll paint a room a dark color...maybe. Lovely!
Cheers!,
Barbara
What a fun project to work on...and such a lovely home! Congrats!
Very beautiful home, so many nice things about it! Not surprised it made the cover.
Gorgeous, gorgeous home! So ironic, I was just thinking about Bonnie a couple of days ago. Please tell her hello for me! xxojoan
Love the black, gray and white. May have to rethink my bedroom.
