Valentine's Day Dessert Table

Just for fun Saturday night, I set up a little dessert table for two, actually make that three, to celebrate Valentine's Day while we were in Asti.

This is a corner in the kitchen with two club chairs and an antique wine table in between.

I had an embroidered linen square tablecloth that I have been wanting to use, purchased at Uniquely Chic in Healdsburg.

Fresh tulips for the flower vase.

Alabaster lamps and candlesticks provide the ambiance.

See what I mean? A table for three...

Dexter was very curious about the blackberry torte!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm joining Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday.

I love Dexter's expression in his first picture. He' looking at you out of the corner of his eye and seems to be wondering if you would really catch him if he quickly grabbed the torte! He is so precious.
Lovely setting for a wonderful Valentine's celebration with your husband...and Dexter, too.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Beautiful! Did you make the torte yourself? I really like all the words on your tablescape pieces.

I love everything about this. The table covering is just beautiful. I love the dishes, the glasses, and that fruit-topped cheese (brie?) with the lattice crust looks delicious. Did you make that? If so, details on how you did the crust. Also, Dexter is a doll! What kind of a dog is s/he? Tibetan Terrier?
