Geyserville is a sleepy little town just down the road from our Asti home.
Not much has changed here in years.
There's the old hardware store with everything from western clothing to ammo, complete with old wooden floors.
We like to come here for lunch at Diavolo, a great restaurant with the best pizzas in the world.
There are also a couple of antique collectives that I've been lucky to find a few treasures in.
Like this majolica plate!
Can you believe it was only $20?
Perhaps on the family room mantel.
I also found this majolica vase hidden from view.
I don't think the dealer knew it was special. It's quite large and will make a nice centerpiece filled with hydrangeas or roses.
This is the kind of "antiquing" I like to do.
I call it bottom feeding!
You just never know what treasure you might unearth amidst all the junk!
Sounds like fun ... great finds... Ciao for now...
Two beautiful pieces!
Oh yeah, that's where you find the best stuff. You have to move other items around and there it is.....Yippee........a new treasure!
Lovely finds. I know you love your majolica. :)
This makes shopping fun! It's sort of like treasure hunting. Looks like you found the treasure!!!
My kind of day, great finds
Bottom feeding! funny girl! Looks like a fun place to go.
Been on that wavelength lately and thrifting.
There is nothing better than finding that one great piece of majolica or creamware or whatever that no one realizes should have been doubled in price…at least! I promise I'm coming to visit one day! I love where you live and where you get to shop! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Oh, please do come for a visit!
