Our entry and hall is officially decked, starting with the welcoming wreath.
Handmade by a very nice lady in Geyserville, and personalized with my "Merry Christmas" banner made from upholstery webbing.
I gussied up the "faux real" garland with burlap ribbon.
It came pre-lit and proved to be so easy to hang, once we got the nails in place.
Two red poinsettias give a punch of color.
Come on in!
More poinsettias are just inside the door.
They are perfect for the pine cone urns, all part of my love affair with all things rustic and natural!
The only thing missing in the entry is the tree!
Can you see the fallen limbs on the sidewalk outside?
That's why we don't have a tree yet.
The whole weekend was one storm after another, with the worst one on Sunday.
The yard is a mess!
Just a little too rustic and too natural!
But at least the entry is done!
All poinsettias and pre-lit garland: Costco
Burlap ribbon: Michaels
Upholstery webbing: JoAnn's Fabrics
Doormat: Target
Pinecone urns: Wisteria
I'm joining Kim at Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesday!
Since Kathy at The Chicken Chick sent me an invite, I'm happy to join her blog hop party too!

Love the garland with the burlap ribbon. The entry looks so inviting. How nice to be able to have Poinsettias OUTDOORS!!
It all looks so, so pretty...
Ciao for now...
Very pretty! I grew up in Southern Ca and recall all the poinsettias outside .. here in Washington state they won't survive outside. I've replaced the red with berries and vines .. and a little red cyclamen if it's not too cold.

Sorry about all of your storms and the damage done. Hope it wasn't more than branches and limbs. Love your entry. I bet that wreath smells amazing with all the cedars and eucalyptus. The pre-lits are amazing aren't they? I want to use more of those next year. Adding lights to my garlands has been very time consuming.

I think you hit the nail on the head. It all looks great. Love that your poinsettias are right inside the door. It gets so cold here that I have been affraid to set them right in the door, but I love the way yours look. -Tonya
So sorry to hear about the storms. Your entry looks beautiful!!
What beautiful decorations for an absolutely gorgeous entry! I love your wreath and "faux" garland. They sure have made great improvements in making it look real and it lasts through the whole season looking green and perfect. If I had lots of $$$ of course I would have real greens and have someone replace it right before Christmas so it looked fresh and green for the important day! Can't wait to see more as you get things finished. Great job!
Just beautifully done! Oh, it looks so festive! Time for a pary! =D
and, this may sound silly but I miss those California windy/rainy storms! sigh. =] California Christmas - take me home! =]

Kudos for accomplishing so much merriness during the wind storms.
Delores, it all looks fabulous! I remember your Merry Christmas banner from last year and this image has reminded me that I want to make one. I'm off to Jo Ann's this afternoon, but last time I checked they didn't have the webbing. Hope they do today.......Sarah
What a beautiful entry! I love the use of burlap with the garland and your welcoming message....so inviting.
I remember this wreath from last year; it makes a real impression; LOVE it, and the entry!
It looks gorgeous Delores! I still don't even have my wreath done yet ; 0 (

That wreath is absolutely stunning...I don't even have a wreath on my front door...I think I am being too much of a scrooge this year...
Wow seriously gorgeous...all of it! Just beautiful.
If I could give a standing ovation for beautiful Christmas Decor…I certainly would! My car is headed BACK to Costco tomorrow! How in the world did you make it look THAT pretty?!! I'm so impressed! Sure wish that lady shipped wreaths to Alabama as well! You have such a flair and it is right up my alley! Love this post!! Merry Early Christmas!
It just couldn't be better. Every detail is wonderful
Beautiful job on your entryway! Burlap seems to be back in style. I used it at Thanksgiving for some decor and loved it!
...just beautiful...love love the pinecone urns...your entire home says "welcome"...no decorating gets better than that...blessings laney

Your entryway looks lovely! Love those pinecone urns! Now following you!
Looks great Dolores! And still love those pinecone planters!! I have a question.... what do you put on your dining table and/or kitchen table during Xmas? I don't mean "tablescaping" for a party/dinner, but what sits on your dining table that says "Xmas" all the other days? I am in a dilemma! Have gotten rid of some old Xmas decor so right now my dining table has nothing Christmas-y. I've been looking through Pinterest for ideas, but mainly see tablescapes for dinners..... Thoughts?

How cute the holiday message on the webbing is! Great idea.
I giggled when I read how you had 'gussied' up with burlap ribbon!!!
Hope you have had the time to strip a Santa from his standard red suit to redress him in burlap too - thanks for stopping by BCH.
Oh, the pinecone baskets are great! Everything is lovely.

Delores, your house is looking wonderful. I still love the webbing with Merry Christmas on it, and the tree with the family photos...and of course the tartan. :)
Looks like you're well on the way to getting your Christmas decorating finished.
