Adding Life With Plants And Flowers

White orchids are a weakness of mine.
I love them for their elegance and how they take a room from "ok" to "wow!"
Putting this orchid plant in the bathroom between the mirrors takes my breath away now, every time I walk into this room!

Filling the iron urn with white orchids filled up an empty corner in the living room, adding height and life atop the piano.

The fiddlehead fern is starting to fade, but I feel that I will always need something green, tall and dramatic to sit next to the piano as the alcove windows don't have window coverings.

I picked up a little ivy ring at the grocery store for the dining room.
The leopard hide is a new addition and will eventually go on the floor.
I promise!

My friend gifted me this elegant orchid arrangement.
She knows how much I love orchids, as does she.
It adds drama to the dining room bar cart.

And last, the new coffee table arrived!
Am I ever going to have fun playing with it, filling it with books, candles and plants.

Exactly what I have in the center of my bathroom counter in front of the mirror. Orchids really fill a space elegantly. Hard for me to keep them alive though. They do well for a long period and then one morning I get up and flop... they are dying. No hope lol.
Loving the coffee table.. and the parts of the rooms as well. Very nice.

Fabulous! Orchids are so divine and last so long...if they arent overwatered, which I manage to do too often!

Hi, Delores. Love white Orchids also. I think your Fiddlehead needs a bigger pot and more nutrient rich soil in order to thrive.

The orchids add such a perfect touch. I've always adored the look of a fiddle leaf fig plant but would get discouraged with the leaves browning and falling off. It looks perfect near the piano. Love that alcove setting. The leopard hide looks pretty awesome on the dining table and I love the huge mirror and the reflection of the room.

I adore orchids too. Yours are so lovely in the gorgeous different containers. Very elegant.
I'm loving all your new things. You've done a fabulous job.
Can you believe all the years we've been blogging? We started about the same time. The years are passing too quickly!!!!
Enjoy your week.

Oh, I found a new orchid fertilizer. I did a post recently that gave a link. I will look it up.
Found it - it is at the end of the garden club post I did in February. http://livingwiththanksgiving.blogspot.com/2016/02/february-garden-clublove-is-in-air.html
You can order it on line. I have never gotten my orchids to rebloom and my friend that recommended the fertilizer is an expert.

Love the orchids Delores! I agree, they add so much drama and height - love that! And I adore the new coffee table! You didn't say where it's from? Wherever you got it, it's a good one:)

The orchids are beautiful. Love your sense of style. Great vision with the leopard hide on the table. I know it will look equally great on the floor. I would like to invite you to share this lovely post with our readers at our link party, Dishing It & Digging it on Sundays. Have a wonderful week.
