Fleurs Maison

Usually when we entertain guests in Asti, I walk around with clippers, cutting roses, lavender, rosemary, etc. for arrangements in the house like this one.

So I was thrilled when our guests arrived with this beautiful arrangement of dahlias and hydrangeas from a florist in San Francisco.
I promptly put it in the vintage wine cask and set it in the living room for all of us to admire.
Simply beautiful, don't you think?

Hi D! I love it, nothing prettier than a free form arrangement, so natural and beautiful. I like simple flowers, in fact I even have a simple flowers board on Pinterest. I think I need to pin this there!! Have a great day,

Very pretty arrangement. I see that it also has poppy pods...they look like Papaver somniferum (opium poppy). Be sure to save the seed heads and let them dry so you can early next year. They make sensational bouquets and yes, they are legal.
