"I really love your peaches, want to shake your tree!" ~Steve Miller
Seriously, that is what was playing in my head when we visited Dry Creek Peach and Produce last Sunday.

While I'm not in love with peaches, Mr. A is.
He loves peaches and is forever searching for the perfect peach that reminds him of his grandmother's peaches from his childhood.

I think he finally found the perfect peach!
Organic, tree-ripened and hand picked, these peaches are so good that the finest restaurants in San Francisco and chefs like Charlie Palmer and John Ash serve them or sing their praises.
"These are the best peaches in the world." ~John Ash
Needless to say, we bought lots of peaches, jam and cobbler mix.

I can assure you that the peaches were consumed before they could be made into a pie or cobbler though.
We'll just have to go back for more!
Wish you could taste the perfect peach too?
You can order peaches and jam direct from Dry Creek Peach and Produce here!
Hurry though, the taste of summer is ending soon!

Thanks for the tip! I love peaches but it's hard to find really good tasty ones. I will head over to the Dry Creek Peach and Produce site now. Have a great weekend!

In Oklahoma, we have Porter Peaches and Stratford Peaches....beyond delicious. I'm with Mr. A, peaches are my favorite fruit. We bought 3 bushels, which we ate daily while I peeled, sliced, and froze the rest... enough to hopefully give us fresh peaches through most of the winter. There will be a few cobblers in the coming months. yum! I think that I'll go grab some right now. Thanks for the idea. Cherry Kay
We love peaches here, but the Texas crop is long gone. Like at your house, they get consumed before they could be made into jams. Sometimes we freeze them, but mostly we just enjoy them through the short season. We get our favorites from Marburger Farms in Fredericksburg, TX. Red Globe are our favorites. ;-)
Have a peach of a weekend.......Sarah
I SO agree with you, peaches rule the summer!
And they are so good this year... hoping to get a bumper crop at our farmers market tomorrow.. the central valley has had a fabulous season for us!
Stay cool!

Hello Delores. Poached Vanilla Peaches are one of my favourite late summer desserts and this has just reminded me that we haven't had them this year. Weekend dessert sorted!
Don't the words Peach Festival just make you want to smile!
I love them cooked in brandy and piled up on French toast.
Yum, my favorite fruit, just bought some today at a local farm. My absolute fave is homemade peach ice cream!
Oh, what fun! I love peaches and so does my husband! I would love to try some of these! Thanks for the beautiful pics and now I have that song stuck in my head! LOL! Have a great weekend!
