Our Round Top day was so much fun. We exhausted ourselves just at Marburger Farms, wanting more.
Here are some more pictures as promised:
We noticed a lot of shell art like the photos above....
There was plenty of linen, burlap and natural fabrics like this romantic bed is wearing.
We also saw many antlers like these on display.
This is a gorgeous Black Forest Antler that I absolutely loved.
We eventually moseyed down the road to another spot.
I went crazy over this cutlery set, but couldn't bring myself to pay the price.
I ended up buying this brown upholstered burlap chair and it's mate from a lovely couple there. Not sure where I am putting it, but it spoke to me.
This is Luz and Hernando Punto who sold me the chairs. Mr. Punto took the chairs apart and completely restored them, painted them, and upholstered them.
We ended up staying only one day at Round Top. Houston and it's shops and restaurants were waiting for us to explore. More on that later.....
It sounds like you are having a wonderful time, Delores, and I'm enjoying the pictures. I really like the chair you bought! Just beautiful!
I am looking forward to hearing about Houston! Have a wonderful Easter!

Love your new chairs, and like you, that cutlery set would definitely call to me. I don't think I've seen such an extensive set in the bone handles. Keep looking, there will be more! Have fun in Houston. Happy, Happy!
I am dying over all the antlers on the big round piece of wood! Beautiful chairs!!! Can't wait to see them in your home....

Love love love the chairs your purchased. When I opened the picture of the bakelite I gasped but I am sure a complete set in the beautiful display case cost a mint, I still enjoyed looking at it. Can't wait to see more, thanks for this great virtual shopping trip,Kathysue
What a wonderful place - my idea of heaven and I adore your chairs - what a great find! x
One day I hope to get to Round Top myself, my Texan friends all rave about the place!
The photographs have just made me want to go there even more.
Your chairs are wonderful.
Roundtop displays are always so much more decorative than those at Brimfield, in Mass. That's where we go every year, usually twice. Once in the spring and once in the fall. But everytime I see pictures of the Roundtop show I think - maybe I should take a trip back to Texas? LOL!
