A Summer Bouquet

This bouquet of summer flowers set the mood for our 4th of July weekend. It took center stage for many lunches and dinners with our entire family, but on Friday night, we hosted
a dinner for our neighbors who live down the road.

I snapped a few pictures before our guests arrived and the table was officially set.
My new Nell's Hill chargers go nicely with the willow candle holders and compliment the French reproduction feed sack table runner. The sunflower patterned napkins are from April Cornell. Mesh domes kept the bugs out!

I'm linking up to Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday.
Thank you Marty for hosting!

Hmmmm...I'm trying to decide whether I like your Nell Hill chargers or your Ballarad chargers better. Rough choice - lucky you - you don't have to choose! I think I'm going to have to invest in one of them.

This looks like a little slice of heaven! How do you get your guest to leave? I love everything about your display AND the glass jars hanging from the vines! I know this was a wonderful evening! www.threepixielane.blogspot.com

Beautiful. I love the mesh covers. With the mosquitoes we had on the 4th, we could have used human sized!

So pretty -- I just bought some of the Nell Hill round chargers -- I had the hardest time choosing between the square and the round -- can't wait to use them.

Dear Dolores, I've had so much fun catching up on some of your older posts!!! I am so enjoying your blog! This table is lovely and the mesh covers - ingenious! The photos of the patriotic decorating was wonderfully inspiring and just plain fun. Absolute wonderment is how I feel about the Dutch village - how fun!!!!!! The winery is amazing - I didn't know about it. I cannot believe no one has done something wonderful with that house. And, my husband and I got a huge chuckle out of the couple with her gorgeous getaway and his "man cave". Actually, I'm off to go check them out. It's all so fascinating - I've really enjoyed my visist this morning. Thanks for taking the time to post all of this!!!

Love, katy

Those bug covers are great. Nothing more annoying than trying to shoo flies off of your plates. A lovely relaxing table nicely shaded from the sun.

So pretty. I love the urn and the pretty flowers, the sunflower napkins are the perfect touch. The two baskets of flowers on either end of the table are such a great idea. Gorgeous. Thanks so much for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty

What a gorgeous tablescape, and the background isn't so shabby either. Makes me want to go out west for a visit. Thanks for sharing it with us.
