Spa-Like Bathrooms That Make You Go Om!

This is The Spa Grotto at Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Resort on Vancouver Island, BC. It is designed to emulate a natural stone grotto, with a 2500 square foot warm water pool infused with natural minerals and a two story waterfall.
I think this would be the ultimate spa experience!

The Dunton Hot Springs Spa in Colorado would also be amazing, where you can soak in a natural hot springs pool after your therapeutic hot rocks massage. Sound wonderful?
Visiting a spa like this would make me go.....

...."om!"

If the spa experience is what you're after, maybe these spa bathroom images will inspire.

Perhaps the images above are a little too...well, spa-like.

This bathroom with the concrete counter and loads of fluffy white towels says spa to me.

DecorPad
As does this bathroom with sponge, bath salts and white robe at the ready.

House to Home

No time for a long soak? Perhaps a shower is more to your liking.
Showers can also evoke a spa-like feel for your bath.

Southern Living
Especially if the shower feels like soft rain.

Southern Living
Even though it isn't a large space, this bathroom feels like a luxurious spa with the two shower heads, chrome accessories and white towels.

Stacks of white towels always say spa to me.

Beautiful candles do to.

And of course the white robe is a must, especially if it's monogrammed!

Spa slippers....

....and beautiful bars of home-made soap!
"Ommmmmm"
Are you feeling pampered yet?

Ommmmm!! I love it!! The dog cracked me up.These are all beautiful displays of relaxation. I love my small but spa-like bath. I think it is the colors that make my blood pressure immediately go down and then the shower, well in our family it is called the heavenly shower!!! It doesn't have to be big to be spa-like!! Thank goodness for me!!! Ommmmmmm!! KS

I just pine for warm sea water Delores - can you believe I was so green when I moved to the Bay that I didn't know the water was (brrrr) so cold?!

On the other hand, i love the hot springs further up near you!

These are all gorgeous spaces, but I've seen your bathroom...and I would take it any day over these! Hmm, maybe I should just plan a spa trip out to your place?!

LOVE the first photo! LOVED the Yoga Pooch! I am not particularly fond of ALL WHITE, especially the photo with the subway tile, I think it appears too institutional! They need to maybe bring in some Orchids to soften it. "That's Me"!!! I REALLY LOVE waterfalls, and we are going to be doing one of those for our Master bath...I do love the concrete, BUT I have a feeling that "That look is going to be Hit or Miss" and I stay clear of it in my decorating.
Thank you so much for your post, It was SO Much Fun!
Have a wonderful week,
Hugs,
Donna

Yes, they definitely make me feel pampered. Gorgeous bathrooms, all of them! I somehow missed your "Still Life" post. Your photographs are amazing. I am an amateur oil painter and would love to paint one of these. You have a very good eye for composition!

Wow, now I need to go hit my spa tub (which I have to say is a daily experience - definitely not a shower girl!) I think I have used our shower twice in 3 years and it is really nice with double heads and a rain shower, but nothing like relaxing in a tub.

These are just fantastically fun!
