Flowers And Perfume

How about some beautiful Parisian flowers and perfume to start the weekend with, starting with the flowers at The George V.
  They were truly breathtaking!

This floral display is the first thing you see when you walk into the lobby.
It's almost overwhelming!

I would never think of combining red and pink together but it works.
Just look how many orchids and roses!

This arrangement was at the Bristol Hotel, another fabulous hotel that we visited one evening.

Flowers and fruit at the Cacharel showroom.

Just as pretty as flowers are these Chanel perfume bottles...

...I found myself reminiscing about my Grandma Ila who alway wore Chanel No. 5!

I'm in love with the flower stands in Paris.
How can one resist not stopping for a bouquet while walking home to your Parisian apartment?

The French have a way of making everything look better.

From flowers to perfume, I was so inspired to capture it all with the new Sony camera I bought two days before the trip.

Have a fabulous weekend!

Oh I love the flowers and the Chanel bottles!! My Grandmother had the almost largest bottle and it was taken by a cousin when my Grandmother moved away from her southern home in Florida. As a young child I remember it on her bedroom desk.

I am stopping on my way home tonight and getting me some fresh flowers, already had this plsnned LOL

Delores, your posts on Paris are making me yearn for a trip. ;-) Thank you for sharing the joy!
Chanel #5, was my perfume of choice for many, many years. Thanks for the sweet memory. Just the thought brings back the fragrance to my senses!

Those arrangements are divine!!! Too bad our trips didn't overlap. Would've been fun to meet there :) xo

Love Paris, Love the photos. Is your new camera the Sony Nex? I have the Sony Nex-6 and it has taken my digital photography to the next level, although it took a while to utilize all the features. For low light it cannot be beat. Happy photographing!

When are you coming home? I was wondering if you could recommend a good upholsterer, please?

My mom wore Chanel No. 5 and as a kid I'd dip into it before school. Shiree'

Beautiful choices! I'm sure it's difficult to break away from what you’re used to and downsize at the same time, but the reward will be worth it. Good luck with the move and decorating!
