Hometalk Styles: French Country

Recently, I was invited by Hometalk to be an honorary pinner to their pinboard
 Hometalk Styles:  French Country.
"A Hometalk board to celebrate French Country Design style brought to you by our honorary pinners."
Hometalk is an online community where people share and help with everything home and garden.
Of course they are on Pinterest too!

I found myself in the company of some of my favorite bloggers who are also contributors.
Like Courtney from French Country Cottage who pinned this gorgeous French Country vignette...

...and Kim from Savvy Southern Style who pinned one of my favorite Charles Faudree kitchens.

Nancy from Nancy's Daily Dish who I think of as "the transferware queen," pinned this gorgeous blue toile powder room, which reminds me of a beautiful transferware plate!

Debra from Common Ground pinned this quintessential French country kitchen, which mixes toile and classic checks.  Ooooo, la la!

So what pins have I been contributing to this board?
Well, I pinned this burlap and linen French sofa...

...and one of my favorite rooms ever!
Other pinners include Sherry from No Minimalist Here and of course, Hometalk.

For being an honorary "pinner," Hometalk sent this cute tool belt as a thank you!
It's fun to be part of this group.  I like seeing what French Country images inspire each of us in common and yet different ways.
For instance, I think we all agree that we love Charles Faudree, toile and checks!

Romancing the Home (author, store & blog) hosts the MOST incredible holiday home tour. Check the Lake Bluff IL Historical Museum 2010 or 11 for wonderful pictures. She has a gorgeous home that she decorates to make one drool. It's a wow!

I concur...we all love Faudree...but who that loves French Country design doesn't? I think we've collectively pinned some beautiful spaces and images that really do conjure up what the style is all about.

Thank you for the shout out Delores!

Lovely post!
