Tartan In My Closet For The Holidays

Is it tartan season yet?
November is the perfect time to bring it out of the closet and wear it!
Here are a few tartan pieces that I plan on wearing this season, starting with these GAP pants.
I plan on dressing them up with heals, or dressing them down with a chambray shirt and tennies.

One of my favorite purchases from last season is this Kate Spade Saturday satchel.
It's been hiding in the drawer for too many months.

Just last week, I splurged on these pumps from Coach.
I'm not sure how I'll walk in them, but OMG how gorgeous are they?
Yes, those are studs along the bottom and they are made out of haircalf!

I don't always wear red tartan...
This coat is a subtle plaid of olive and blue, just in at our store, Les Méchantes.
It's by J.O.A. and is the perfect warm coat for fall.

But of all the tartan in my closet, I love this cape the most
It was a gift from my daughter, purchased in Scotland and carried back in her suitcase.
It's the real deal!

Happy Tartan Season!

(I'm joining The Tartan Parade at The Polohouse.)

Those SHOES ----- I am "in crush" with those ----
as my daughter used to say when she was little!

They are simply divine!

Such pretty items ---- all of them.
Thanks so much for joining in on the
Tartan Parade today, Delores!

Delores, that tartan cape is the perfect gift for you. It must be so cozy! I love the new tartan pieces among your wardrobe. The shoes are indeed fabulous! Not that I could even begin to consider walking in such a pair, but hey, they could easily be a piece of art. '-) Hope you are well and enjoying the process of the new home. I'm eagerly following along with the progress. I'm sure you must be excited about a move in date. Enjoy the parade and thanks for sharing all these goodies.

Today we have rain so i think it is quite appropriate to wear today. I know how you love it. Will we be seeing your combination of tartan and leopard in your new home?

Wonderful clothing selections. I like the idea of how you'll dress up and down the red tartan slacks. Those shoes are quite fabulous and I definitely like that purse. The cape is wonderful and looks really great on you and made all the more special since your daughter brought it back for you.

I am all of a sudden in love with Tartan plaids this season. A friend wants to to take the British Isles tour next year and of course we stop in Scotland, so I may be purchasing me a beautiful cape also.

Those gap pants are fabulous! I love the idea of wearing them with a denim shirt! I wish my legs weren't so chunky. Pattern on the bottom for me is a no no!!
