A Romantic Porch

This is the porch I've been admiring for as long as I can remember. Isn't it adorable?
It serves as both porch and entry, as I'm sure the front door opens directly into the living room.

If this were my porch, I would sit here all day, drinking iced tea and watching the world go by!

Wishing you a Happy Palm Sunday!

Charming I love the chairs they just conjure up the thoughts of cottage living. Speaking of which this place could have been of the cover of "Cottage Living". Lucky you to get to see it often and in person.

Delores -
Oh, I DO love this porch. For some reason, back porches usually appeal to me more than front, but this porch/entry is just enchanting. We have lots of terracing and yard here, but nothing you could call a porch, and I do miss one a bit. Thank you for sharing this porch and the photos of your neighborhood. Living on seven acres, we don't have a 'hood, but I could show you lots of photos of horse arenas and pastures!

*** Delores, this is too, too charming!!! You just MUST consider "accidentally-on-purpose", SORT of "spraining your ankle" (a good "limp" should suffice!) & ask if you can come inside & call your husband cuz you left your cell phone at home... (boy, am *I* ever CLEVER, huh???). If it's as welcomingly delightful INside as is the OUTSIDE, "snap away" for us, will you girlfriend???

P.S. Suggest you take precious dawg with you, then she'll know you're "normal" & NOT some kind of "sicko"!!!

Oh! Even better yet, photocopy today's blog AND comments, mail it to her, and maybe she'll call & invite you to come see it (especially since yer a "neighbor"!!!)...

Big hugs!

(P.S. Try to go over to "The Enchanted Home"... her first pic is a desert house, here at Miravel... now you can SEE how we desert folks actually DO really live! There are SO MANY folks who have no real idea! Thanks!).. Me
