The last two hotels I stayed in had such unique floral arrangements in their lobbies, both on a center table, both using cylinder vases along with organic materials.
This arrangement in the lobby of The Excelsior Hotel in Florence was so creative.
I loved how the artist used twigs, moss and bark in cylinders to showcase these orchids.
Each cylinder had a different look, a different collection of materials.
They were all grouped together in the center of the lobby with candles.
It was such a lovely greeting!
A similar center table with cylinder vases greeted us in NYC at The Essex House.
Another organic arrangement using moss, bark, succulents and roses.
Simply gorgeous!
This would be fun to recreate for a future tablescape centerpiece!
There you have it. Inspiration from the hotel lobby!
I've always been interested in floral design, as my father-in-law was a florist in San Francisco for over 30 years. In those days though, florists didn't get too creative with arrangements like they do today. I wonder what he would think about these unique organic floral creations!
I'm joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday. I'm sure there will be lots of Easter tabletop vignettes, so be sure visit.

Those flower arrangements are fabulous ~ what a wonderful greeting ;-)
The latest Country Living has a gorgeous arangement with colored bottles dropped into a cylinder vase. Really caught my eye. I like the organic flavor of the ones you have too.

These are so stunning! I especially loved the idea of the bark tucked down inside with the rocks...it looks so rustic and beautiful!

Lovely, I so enjoy the mixture of textures. What a lovely welcome!
I bet the upcoming weddings will all be featuring florals like this. So interesting and pretty and I bet it would be a lot less expensive than the large floral arrangements are.
Gorgeous arrangements. Floral arranging has come a long way. LOL I like the use of organic elements in arrangements today. ~ Sarah
I went through a period of yelling "HOT PADS!" to my husband whenever I saw a tree being cut. I love my tree trunks for sitting hot dishes on my table. I see they'd look nice under vases as well.
I AM a floral desiogner and love these arrangements! Love the use of all the organic materials! With an unlimited budget the sky is the limit! Thanks for sharing these, Delores! In my last job it was my job to BE creative and do very unusual arrangements! I LOOOOVED it! XO, Pinky
Love all the pics, thank you, esp after my recent trip to Florence. Inspiring....~
Oh yeah,, these are fabulous.. OMG, I love the bark and the tree slices with the cylinders. Thank you so very much for sharing.
These are all fabulous. I never think to use clear vases. Love all the organic material and all the arrangements are stunning. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
These are great. I remember when I visited the Renaissance Hotel in DC in Chinatown, there was a huge display of flowers in the Lobby.
I have only stayed at one NY hotel, but these look to be amazing lobbies.
