Lilac Time

"I am thinking of the lilac trees,

That shook their purple plumes,

And when the sash was open,

Shed fragrance through the room."
~Mrs. Anna S. Stephens, The Old Apple Tree

Because lilacs are one of my favorite things, I'm joining Laurie at Bargain Hunting with Laurie for Favorite Things Saturday!

Your lilacs are gorgeous and I'm jealous. I haven't had much luck growing the tall varieties this far south. I do have a Miss Kim lilac, which is loaded with buds almost opening, so I'm happy with that. Love your table arrangement. Have a great weekend.

Love the table with the burlap runner and the unusual vase for your lilacs, very lovely contrasts, love the whole vignette! We have just had the crocus come up here, tulips & daffodils to follow, so I am longing for the scent of lilacs!
